IMPORTANT SECURITY MESSAGE FOR FASTATTACH CLIENTS RUNNING ON OLDER VERSIONS OF WINDOWS…
Reduce HIPAA Compliance & Data Security Risks: Update Your Systems to TLS 1.2 and .NET 4.7 Framework NOW!
If you’re using a computer running the Windows 7 operating system or if your datacenters are still running Windows Server 2008 R2 by Microsoft, you could be opening your business to potential HIPAA non-compliance and other security issues. At a minimum, NEA urges you to update to TLS 1.2 in your existing operating system and migrate to .NET 4.7 or higher as soon as possible or risk losing access to the FastAttach platform. For enhanced security, we recommend migrating to a fully supported operating system such as Microsoft products: Windows 10 and upgrading servers to at least Windows Server 2016.
NEA recommends that you contact your practice’s qualified IT professional or reach out to Microsoft directly for further assistance. Unfortunately, the NEA Support team will not be able to assist with Microsoft migration requests.
